Premium Domain Portfolio – GrilledCheeseBurgers.com
My favorite food on earth is probably a grilled cheese burger. Specifically a biscuit burger – which consists of a small burger patty (a little larger than a slider) with a home-baked biscuit instead of a traditional bun. You can top the burger as you wish – my favorite is a Mexican cheese blend with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
This post isn’t about cooking – rather it is about the availability of GrilledCheeseBurgers.com (plural) and GrilledCheeseBurger.com. I own both domains. Although rather long – grilled cheese burger(s) is a keyword domain. Just about everyone I know loves a grilled cheese burger, which can include meat, veggie burgers and so on. There are probably thousands of really cool burger recipes .
Concept 1: video/photo blog where users upload pics and recipes for their burger creation. This would be an ideal way to network with consumers and burger fans.
Concept 2: consumer engagement platform for product retailer or manufacturer.
Concept 3: restaurant site – with forwarding to home page.
The domain package has value for a couple of reasons.
Scarcity. There is only one- GrilledCheeseBurgers.com and only one GrilledCheeseBurger.com – these domains are literally one-in a multi-million in terms of available domains.
Control. This portfolio also controls the .net and .org for both variations of the domain (plural and singular). Bam. Total block-out package. Who ever controls the GrilledCheeseBurger.com portfolio controls the space for the top generic top level domains (gTLDs).
- GrilledCheeseBurger.com & GrilledCheeseBurgers.com
- GrilledCheeseBurger.net & GrilledCheeseBurgers.net
- GrilledCheeseBurger.org & GrilledCheeseBurgers.org
This is an opportunity for complete block-out and control of the grilled cheese burger space for the most common top level domains.
The question is what will happen to the domain(s)? My prediction is this. I will either sell the domain to a manufacturer or retailer in the grilling space. Or the domains will sell to a restaurant that wishes to control GrilledCheeseBurger.com. Who ever owns it – owns it. The domain can point to their product or establishment. I would also entertain offers to develop the domain as a JV.
Will you own GrilledCheeseBurgers.com? Or will your competition?
The potential is limitless. Submit your inquiry or bid via the whois data.
